Greetings!
Hey there, been a long time. I am really enjoying the sunmmer! I've been able to spend some time with my family, relax, and finally do some scrapping! That means good freebies for all you scrappers out there! Does anyone know of a quick way to package up freebies??? Like a script or an action??? I have so many freebies to give away...I would like some advice on the packaging part.

Guess what? I got a blog award too! This will be my 4th award, but this one is my all time favorite award because it has one of my favorite saying on it! This just made my day!

Now to pass this on to five more blogs. Mmmmm....I always find this part the hardest part of getting a blog award. Freebie Wedding QP

Greetings!
I agreed to sustitute for a while, and I love it! I love the kids, my team members, the school, the administration and definitely the technology at our school. Let me tell you though, at the end of the day, I am too pooped to pop! My fifth graders can sure wear me out! So....that's the reson why I have not posted any goodies for you all in while. However, this week is Spring break, so I thought I would take some time to give up some digital scrapbooking freebies.

First up is a wedding quick page I made for my friend, Pink, who lives in England. In the two years I've been scrapping I've made some awesome friends in all parts of the world. Anyway, as most of you know, England is having a royal wedding this week, so I used Pink's portion of "The Royal Wedding" blog train to create this quick page. The colors are soft, beautiful, and versatile enough to be used for scrapping any personal wedding or anniversary memories as well. Been ages since my last post, probably a combination of going back to teaching all day, and being too pooped to pop when I come home!

A Friend of Mine

I'd like to share something with you all that happened to a very good friend of mine. She comissioned a person to make some personalized quick pages for her, so she could make a big scrapbook for her son and give it to him on his 18th birthday.

Just as an aside, what a gift right? All of his childhood memories, scrapped in priceless pages. You can see a picture of her son on her blog here. He's little now, but he has a huge surprise coming when he is older!

Anyway, back to the story, this particular designer my friend hired was quick to take her money, however, she never delivered the pages she promised, and soon refused to talk to my friend by email. There was no way for my friend to get refunded. Fortunately, the store manager, stepped up to the plate, and provided her a credit for the money. If you have any shopping to do, please check out the store here. Think about though, what if the store manager had not been so kind?

I know this isn't the first time you have probably heard of an incident like this happening over the internet, but I think it's a good reminder of why we all need to be careful when ordering anything. There are people out there that can and will rip you off, unfortunately, this time it was a designer in the scrapping buisiness, which unfortunately, sets a bad example for the rest of us.

So scrappers, learn from my friends situation, and please believe, that not all of us in the scrapping buisiness are the same.

I finally have a moment to sit down and make a post. Here is a layout, I used to make with Shel Belles new kit, Angela's Wedding, but as you will see it is very versatile, and can be used for most anything. It will be in the Stuff to Scrap store this Sunday, so check it out. The layout is of my kids and their Grandparents. I loved both pictures, so I included both of them!
